Prisoner Outreach Seeks Spanish Speaking Writers

Are you someone or do you know someone can translate Spanish? A third party translator might also be able to assist a non-Spanish speaking sponsor in working a Spanish language prisoner. The ISO Conference Nominating Committee

is looking for at least 25 more service resumes. All applicants will be entered into a raffle to receive a free registration to the 2020 ISO Convention. The Conference Steering Committee (CSC)

is looking for volunteers to help with the Area Assembly Handbook. The CSC supports the conference in being the spiritual guardian of international services and of the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions of SAA. The handbook is to help new formed area’s plan and hold Area Assemblies (meetings).​ Contact: bruinpaul85@gmail.com

Annual Camping Trip Sept. 6, 7, 8th

Come experience recovery in nature, there will be a workshop, meetings around a campfire, hiking and lots of other good outer circle fun.This is for SAA members only. Registration is $80, there will be a few scholarships for a reduced $40 fee. Meals provided from Friday night to Sunday afternoon. LGBT Outreach Is Looking For Members To Be Of Service

Their 2019 areas of focus are Outreach to LGBT Community Centers and outreach to existing SAA meetings. There is an ongoing need for people from the LGBT community to sponsor other LGBT members. Want to help?​ Contact ​glbt@saa-recovery.org

Outer Circle Hike in East Bay

Join us on Saturday, August 24 at 10 am to 1:30 pm Lake Chabot Regional Park in Castro Valley. 17600 Lake Chabot Road. Open to all SAAs, their family and friends. We will meet up at the Marina near the restrooms at 10:00 AM. We will be doing a 4 mile or so hike. After the hike we will be having lunch.
